Terms of Service

Study Anything is provided by STRICS IT GmbH, Florian-Gmainer-Strasse 4, 4240 Freistadt, Austria. By using the app or purchasing a subscription, you agree to these Terms, the Privacy Policy and the Apple Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement.

You must be at least 13 and legally able to agree. If local law requires parental consent at a higher age, a parent or guardian must provide it.

Study Anything converts eligible PDFs into concepts, explanations, flashcards, matching tasks, drills and exam questions. Generated content is a study aid, not an official course, examination answer key, professional qualification or guarantee of exam results.

Extraction and AI generation can omit, misunderstand or invent information. You are responsible for comparing important material with the original document and authoritative course sources, especially for legal, medical, financial, technical or safety-related subjects.

Uploading and generating from a new PDF requires an active monthly auto-renewing Plus or MAX subscription. Plus currently permits one PDF per week with up to 30 pages. MAX currently permits seven PDFs per week with up to 300 pages each. Studying existing packs and packs shared by selected friends remains available without a paid upload entitlement.

The product, local price, taxes, billing period and exact features shown by Apple and the purchase screen before confirmation control your purchase. Payment is charged to your Apple Account and renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.

Manage or cancel in your Apple Account subscription settings. Cancelling stops future renewal and access normally continues until the current period ends. Deleting the app or your Study Anything account does not cancel a subscription. Apple handles billing and refund requests without limiting mandatory consumer rights.

You retain your rights in material you submit and grant STRICS IT GmbH a limited, non-exclusive licence to host, extract, process, transform and store it only as needed to generate, secure, synchronize and support your study pack.

You may upload only material that you own or are authorized to process. Do not upload unlawful, infringing, abusive, exploitative, malicious or unnecessarily sensitive content. You are responsible for respecting copyright, confidentiality, privacy, university and course rules and any licence that applies to the source.

You can share a study pack only with signed-in friends you specifically select. The current service does not provide a public study-pack catalog. Share only with people who should receive the material and remember that a recipient can view generated text and retained diagram crops.

Recipients can report a pack and block another user. We may review reports, remove access or content, restrict sharing, suspend or terminate accounts and preserve limited evidence when reasonably necessary to address unlawful content, rights violations, harassment, fraud, security incidents or repeated misuse. Do not automate or scrape the service, bypass App Check, subscriptions, page or upload limits, share transaction credentials, probe another account, interfere with generation jobs, upload malware or reverse engineer protected backend behavior except where law expressly permits it.

We may reject a file, throttle requests or adjust reasonable technical limits to prevent abuse, excessive cost or service instability. Attempting to evade a limit can result in suspension or termination.

Study Anything depends on Apple, Google Firebase and Google Cloud, OpenRouter, routed model providers and internet connectivity. Providers, models, extraction behavior, APIs, prices and limits can change, fail or be discontinued outside our control.

We may update, replace or remove features and adjust reasonable limits. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, permanent storage, identical output for the same PDF or continuing availability of a particular model.

You can permanently delete your account from Profile. Deletion removes server-side account data as described in the Privacy Policy and revokes the app's Sign in with Apple credential when applicable, but does not cancel an Apple subscription.

We may suspend or terminate access for material or repeated violations, fraud, security threats, unpaid or expired upload access, legal obligations or conduct that risks harm to users, providers or the service.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Study Anything is provided without guarantees that extraction or generated material is complete, accurate, suitable for a course or accepted by an examiner. STRICS IT GmbH is not liable for indirect loss, missed study goals or decisions based on unverified generated content.

Nothing in these Terms excludes statutory warranty, withdrawal, product, data-protection or consumer rights, or liability that cannot legally be limited, including liability for intent, gross negligence or personal injury where applicable.

We may update these Terms for legal, security, provider or product changes. Material changes will be communicated where required and the current version and effective date will be published here.

Austrian law applies without depriving consumers of mandatory protection in their country of residence. Contact STRICS IT GmbH at hello@strics.at.
